The Christmas market is right in the walkplatz and that is where all the stores are so we decided to kill two birds with one stone and do both. We got to the market around lunch time so the first thing we did was grab a bratwurst for lunch. Usually bratwurst are served on a crusty roll but these had a nice soft roll and it was a delicious change. After we at our lunch we walked around and checked out some of the stands. While making our round about the market Bill grabbed some glühwein.
Once we saw all that the market had to offer we started our clothing shopping. The first store we hit was H&M and it was a success. Both bill and I were able to find the ugly sweaters we are going to wear to the party. The next store we checked out was TK-Maxx which is the same thing as TJ-Maxx in the states. We bought a few things from there as well. We ended up spending two hours in Trier which is a long time for us. We are usually in and out of a Christmas market in about an hour. When we were getting ready to leave the market and the stores were crowded. That was our cue to leave since we are both not a fan of crowds.
